Learn about the history of Tri-State Training, the products we offer, and our goals for the company.

Welcome to Tri-State Training and Safety Consulting! We are a locally owned and operated, small business, specializing in Safety Trainings, AED sales and maintenance, and Personal Protective Equipment. We have created a specialized approach to teaching, and offer customized training programs serving the needs of Healthcare professionals, Educators, Corporate Centers, Extended Care Facilities, as well as the general public. We believe that quality training, flexible scheduling, and outstanding customer service are the key ingredients to satisfying our clients’ needs.

Tri-State Training was launched by Kevin Kerns, an EMT, and his daughter, in 2011 out of his garage. His mission was to provide everyone with the accessibility to life-saving training at a fair cost. Initially he started teaching clients in Delaware County, but throughout the years the company has grown astronomically and we now train clients around the U.S.! Kevin’s two man operation has skyrocketed into a prosperous, multi-team organization.

Our instructors are AMAZING! (Don't believe us, go read our Google Reviews). They bring years of real-world experience and expertise in the Emergency Response and Medical fields directly to you. Our instructors are kept up to date with the most current guidelines and trends that are evolving in the industry. We train our instructors to ensure the highest level of competency, so they are prepared to address questions and concerns that our clients may have.

Our company has won Best of Delco several years in a row. Tri-State Training has also been recognized by 40 Under 40, INC. 5000, and Stellar Startups. Our goal is to impart knowledge on what you need to prepare for the unexpected. Give us a call today- we're always here to help!
